Various pieces of studio chat from the mini-docs and "The Beatles On Record". If we can identify or come to a consensus on any of these, I'll move them to their own posts. Feel free to comment here on any of them.

ReplyDelete"Clip # 1 finds John being annoyed by the microphones - like in the This Boy session. Paul's bass noodling sounds similar, don't you think?
Clip # 2 could be the end of A Hard Day's Night take 9. That WAS the master and and an early take featured the mention of "a funny chord." The dying chord at the start of the clip is not in the right key though, is it?"
Clip # 9 *could* be from the "I Me Mine" sessions? Ringo's muffled voice and Paul's bass noodling sounds similar to the pre-take chat/sounds previously heard on the Barrett Tapes (i.e.: GH: "Are you ready, Ringo?" RS: "Ready, George"). Maybe?!
ReplyDeleteI must admit, the others are tough to place!
Clip #6 reminds me of "I'm ready to sing for the world, George, if you'd just give me the backing!" which I assume is from All You Need Is Love?
ReplyDeleteWardo - yes, agreed re: #6, I thought that, too, and forgot to mention it.
ReplyDeletewow, so darn tough... does anyone know where i can download this for keeps?
ReplyDeleteThere is a tiny sound at the end of Clip one that sounds like the first organ chord of I`m the walrus. Could be mere coincidence though.
ReplyDeleteMethinks #3 might be "Tell Me Why", take 2.
