Some Other Guy

CBM, 1973

The Cavern film, a few BBC cuts, two solo TV appearances, an outtake, an outfake, and Around The Beatles again (this time from the US broadcast, with American announcer). The Tony Barrow interview is still rare, for what that's worth.

- Some Other Guy
- Lucille
- Boys
- Instant Karma! (We All Shine On)
- Act Naturally
- Tony Barrow phone interview w/Jerry G. Bishop

- From Us To You
- Shout!
- What's The New Mary Jane
- Across The Universe
- Twist And Shout
- Roll Over Beethoven
- I Wanna Be Your Man
- Long Tall Sally

  1. Yeah some of these interviews that can be found on these old bootlegs are pretty rare. There has always been one in particular that I could never identify:

On "The Never Released Mary Jane" LP (the one with a picture of The Beatles performing "Your Mother Should Know" on the cover) there is an interview with George Harrison where he talks about America and why The Beatles wouldn't consider moving to America. I've never seen that anywhere else.

As for this bootleg, there were a number of boots like this that I recall CBM putting out in the mid 70s. They'd find one track (in this case "Some Other Guy") and just reissue a bunch of stuff around it. They also had stuff like "Happy Birthday" around this time too I believe.
