The Beatles' first visit to Philadelphia took place on September 2nd, 1964. Prior to their concert at Convention Hall, they were interviewed backstage by Charlie Murdock, a DJ from WQAM Radio in Miami. Murdock took the opportunity to pass along greetings from police sergeant Buddy Dresner, The Beatles' minder during their February stay in Miami Beach.
